H. Wotton's Garak Fanfic

"I can believe anything, provided that it is quite incredible."

"Now, the value of an idea has nothing whatsoever to do with the sincerity of the man who expresses it. Indeed, the probabilities are that the more insincere the man is, the more purely intellectual will the idea be, as in that case it will not be coloured by either his wants, his desires, or his prejudices."

Lord Henry Wotton, in Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray

The Best-Laid Plans (PG):

Ever wonder what Garak was doing on the station during all those episodes in which he doesn't appear? Here are a few imagined vignettes from seasons two and three.

Flowering (NC-17, G/m):

ASC 1999 Awards Winner:
Best DS9 General Romance

At a high school for bright but rebellious Cardassian boys, Elim learns the pleasures of the flesh from an eccentric older classmate.

Taking in Trouble and Letting in Love (NC-17, G/B):

In these two linked stories, set one year after WYLB, Bashir visits Garak on Cardassia Prime with the intention of rekindling their relationship. However, the doctor’s entanglement with two street urchins threatens to derail his plans.

Kudos (PG-13):

This story follows up on Taking in Trouble/Letting In Love. Set ten years later than the earlier stories, this one tells us how everything worked out between Garak and Bashir and Jogal and Jilana.

Hurts Unspoken (PG):

Ezri goes to Cardassia post-WYLB to work with doctors there to help patients recover from post-traumatic stress. For one patient, though, Garak turns out to be the best therapist.
