Fiction

Cardie-ologist's Page: Contains some of the best-written and psychologically astute fiction on the net. Check out, in particular, The Elim and Elmo Show, and take the time to read the whole of her wonderful alternative universe series.

Arcady: Some excellent reworkings of Sherlock Holmes stories, in particular The Riding Hound of the House of Tain, but my own favourite here is Nom de Plume - what happens when fictional characters write fan fiction...? Don't miss the sequel Roman a Clef either - just wonderful!

Agent 7's Literary Page: Two of my favourites are here. Down the Yellow Brick Road puts together two characters who normally wouldn't meet. Discussions in a Turbolift - so it's the old stuck in a lift trick. If it was good enough for Star Cops, it's good enough for me.

alt.startrek.creative: hours and hours and hours and hours...

Scaly Tales: It's what started me off on that long path that ends with you putting up a links page at 11pm on a Wednesday night. Most beloved on this site are The Gift by Christine Collins in Issue 2 and Flowering by Henrietta Wotton in Issue 5.

The Neutral Zine: Successor to Scaly Tales. More broadbased, but issue 1 has Sally Vandershaf's mega-read stories. Go get 'em!

Matt Edwards' site: Building up what's going to be a terrific epic - politics, spies, love, loss and the odd Cardassian. Something for everyone.

This and That has one of the largest DS9 fanfic link lists on the net, and also contains a full-length DS9 novel titled Dreadnought.
